Auto-Responder emails in GoogleApps

Auto-response messages are now configured from your GoogleApps email website. Google Chrome is the preferred browser to use when accessing your GoogleApps email account.

Enable the vacation responder

1. Open your email account from Google Chrome

2. Click the gear icon in the upper right, and then click select Settings.

From the General tab, select Vacation responder on
a. Enter your message
b. Click Save Changes

Tip: If you are on extended absence, enter the End date to automatically turn the responder off.

Disable the vacation responder

1. Open your email account from Google Chrome

2. Click ‘End Now’ on the yellow bar that shows on the top of the screen
